Our History…

The Boxing Club at NC State was founded in Fall of 2014 by a group of friends with the ambition to teach students the techniques of boxing. Though the organization started with less than 10 members, its popularity quickly grew around campus. The founders, driven by passion to teach the sweet science, motivated the small group to recruit members to the club. By the third the semester of the organization’s existence, over 80 people showed interest in the club, a drastic increase in previous semesters. Since then, the club continues to grow exponentially; stacked with officers and members dedicating countless hours of time and effort. As significant steps are being taken each year, the club continues to pursue its goal to become the powerhouse of college boxing.

In Fall of 2017, the Boxing Club at NC State was officially recognized as a university club sport. Devoted members train with intensity and passion, with the hopes of representing the NC State Boxing Club in amateur or college boxing matches. The club continues to work within the area, holding fundraising events for both the club and community, such as ourĀ Fight for a Cure event!
