IRC Exec Recruitment

The Inter-Residence Council is hiring students to join their executive board this year. IRC is an on campus organization affiliated with housing that strives to serve the NC State community and create a space for residents to be engaged and grow. You will develop your leadership skills, advocate for all students living on campus and grow your involvement on campus!

Available positions:

  • Vice President of Media and Marketing (full year)

    • Responsible for all media and marketing for IRC, including creating and distributing all publicity for IRC events
    • Maintain the IRC website
    • Maintain and grow IRC’s social media presence
    • Serve as the IRC Historian


  • Vice President of National Communication Coordination (full year)

    • Serve as IRC’s official liaison to the organizations of the North Carolina Association of Residence Halls (NCARH), the South Atlantic Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (SAACURH) and the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH)
    • Attend any respective conference meetings
    • Select, prepare, and train IRC delegations
    • Coordinate, order and submit material from the NACURH Corporate Office
    • Responsible for preparing written bids for each organization
    • Serve as Parliamentarian in the weekly IRC General Assembly meetings
    • Maintain Constitution and Bylaws of IRC
    • Take minutes and attendance at all IRC meetings
