In honor of Women’s History Month, the Language Diversity Ambassadors are hosting an event about Gendered Language: Myths & Marvels in 5 Minutes or Less. Linguists will take turns briefly discussing topics such as women’s language in the workplace, discourse of drag queens, Latinx, swearing, language in children’s media (Disney films and Steven Universe), and discourse and masculinity.
