Part of establishing a great leadership team is having a right-hand person to make things happen. The position of Executive Assistant is one filled to the preference of an administration and the person who fills it. Traditionally, this role has been to assist with the logistics, the planning and execution of meetings, taking minutes and documenting, and assisting the Student Body President and Student Body Vice President on a number of administrative tasks.
Maddie Kohls is a Junior from Middlesex, NC studying Animal Science with a pre-vet concentration and is double minoring in Military Science and Nonprofit Studies. Alongside her studies, she is also in the Army ROTC program and works for the CALS Career Services as a Career Coach and the Marketing and Events Assistant. In her free time, she can be found doing Citizen Science projects around campus and hiking with her family. As the Executive Assistant, Maddie manages the logistics, the planning and execution of meetings, taking minutes and documenting, and assisting the SBP Flowers and SBVP Heavlin on a number of administrative tasks. She is passionate about creating a welcoming and inclusive environment at NC State and is excited for her new role in Student Government.
