Academic Affairs

The Academic Affairs Department shall serve as a liaison between the student body, Student Government, and the University. The Department’s focal aim is the improvement of the NC State academic experience, accomplished through student and instructor advocacy, instructional review, and collaborative initiatives aimed at enhancing teaching and learning environments. The Department will work closely with, but not limited to, the Division of Academic and Student Affairs, the Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity, Disability Resource Office, Digital Education and Learning Technology Applications, NC State administration, and various other student led organizations.  The Department will partner with aforementioned organizations to reach a broad spectrum of students. The Department and its members will strive to create an educational, safe, and cooperative environment for all students within the classroom setting through event planning and coordinating, student outreach and engagement, and outreach to various university administrators and departments.
