Operation Smile 1st North Carolina Safe Surgery Summit

Operation Smile is an international medical charity that provides free reconstructive surgeries for children in developing countries born with cleft lips and cleft palates. Despite these efforts, two billion patients still lack safe surgery due to the shortage of surgeons and equipment, the distance to surgical sites and the cost.
