Election Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Board of Elections conducts two major election cycles each year:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fall Election<\/th>Spring Election<\/th><\/tr><\/thead>
For first-year Student Senate seats (undergraduate and graduate).<\/td>For Student Body Officers and full Student Senate seats.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>
The Board of Elections also oversees all student referenda that appear on election ballots, which could be in the Fall, Spring, or during a Special Election.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n

Get Involved with the Board of Elections!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Board of Elections (BOE) is made up of student leaders who ensure every election and referendum is conducted fairly, transparently, and in full compliance with Student Government law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apply to Serve as a Commissioner<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Commissioners, also known as Voting Board Members (VBMs), are voting members of the Board, appointed by the Student Body President and confirmed by the Student Senate for one-year staggered terms.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They help administer elections, hear violations, and uphold the integrity of the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join as an Elections Assistant<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Elections Assistants (EAs) are non-voting members appointed by the Chair of the Board to help with outreach, tabling, publicity, and election operations throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BOE is always recruiting Elections Assistants, a vital and lower-commitment role that helps make every election possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
