With the change of every season, I think of you

Wondering what you’d be doing if you were still here 

What new memories, new experiences, new joy, new things life could’ve brought 

There was so much left for you in this life

I often wonder with every move that maybe this was a mistake 

Leaving you behind to chase new opportunities, new people, new money, new things 

Maybe I should’ve stayed 

I worry that with time and distance I’ll forget everything 

But I know that for everything there is a season, 

And that there’s a time for every matter under heaven

So I promise to carry you with me no matter where I go

No matter the season, you’ll forever be in my heart
