President Obama to Speak on NCSU Campus

President Obama will be on campus this Wednesday at approximately 12:55 PM in Reynolds Coliseum, where he plans to speak on the new Americans Job Act. The president introduced the new bill on Thursday in a joint session of Congress. He will be emphasizing the reasons as to why he feels that Congress needs to pass this now, so that the country can put more people back to work and put more money in the pockets of the citizens of this country.

Before the president arrives on campus, he will be making a brief stop at WestStar Precision, which is a small manufacturing company in Apex. The company has been described as one which will definitely be affected by the bill if it passed in Congress. This visit to WestStar will be a private gathering, but his visit to campus will be open to the public.

Interested attendees and students will be able to receive tickets to the event beginning tomorrow morning:

Tickets for NC State Students to be limited to one per student:

Ticket pick-up location: NCSU Brickyard

beginning at 8AM, Tuesday,Sept. , 13th
