Jeremy Luz is currently a 3nd year student studying Industrial & Systems Engineering. He is also in the University Honors Program. He competed for Cleveland High School in the Raleigh Regionals. His favorite event was the Bridge Building Event because he enjoyed the hands-on aspect of it. Outside of class, you can find him studying somewhere on Centennial Campus or zipping through NC State on his red Honda motorcycle \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\t \t \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

Siddharth Sivakumar is a third-year undergraduate student at NCSU, majoring in Aerospace Engineering and Nuclear Engineering. He competed with Carnage MS and Enloe HS over the span of seven years. Siddharth\u2019s favorite event was Wright Stuff (Flight\/Helicopter). Outside of class, you would likely find him sailing, fencing, or playing badminton.<\/p>\n\t \t \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

Lauren Schulte-Hock is an Animal Science Major with a Veterinary Bioscience concentration. She competed in Science Olympiad for ten years, and went on to Nationals as a part of the team from the NC School of Math and Science. Her favorite events include Fossils, Forestry, and Rocks and Minerals. Outside of class, you\u2019ll find her camped out in a quiet corner of campus studying, or volunteering with the Swine Educational Unit and Turtle Rescue Team.\u00a0<\/p>\n\t \t \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

Meghana Pandit competed for Piedmont Open IB Middle School at the regional, state, and national level as well as for Weddington High School at the Charlotte regional level. Her favorite events were Anatomy and Physiology and Battery Buggy, which ultimately led her to pursue a degree in Biomedical Engineering as she loved both engineering and medicine. Outside of class, you can find her listening to music, taking photos, or spending time with her friends.<\/p>\n\t \t \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

Afzaa Mujibur Rahman is a Goodnight Scholar studying Biomedical Engineering. She competed for nine years, and was the club president at Research Triangle High School. Her favorite events were Gravity Vehicle and Fermi Questions. Outside of class, you can find her tending to her plants, painting landscapes, or snuggling with her cat :).<\/p>\n\t \t \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

Jenna Holt competed for Topsail High School on both a regional and state level. Her favorite events were Fossils and Rocks and Minerals, which is ultimately what led her to pursue a geology degree at NC State! Outside of class, you can find her playing board games with her friends or holed up on the ninth floor of the library attempting to study.<\/p>\n\t \t \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

Her favorite events were Wright Stuff (Flight), WIDI, and Bottle Rocket. Outside of class you can find her at concerts, watching movies, or traveling!<\/p>\n\t \t \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

Jeimy Aguilar-Mayoral is a second year student majoring in Animal Science with a concentration in Veterinary Bioscience and a minor in Zoology. She has competed in Science Olympiad since her sophomore year of high school at the Early College of Forsyth participating in her favorite build\/experiment events: Trajectory, Scrambler, Gravity Vehicle, and Experimental Design (Shout out Coach Wright!). Outside of school, you can find Jeimy working as a Veterinary Assistant, journaling, and spending time with loved ones and friends!<\/p>\n\t \t \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

He transferred from Wake Tech with an Associate of Science in the spring of 2025, and is also a Goodnight Transfer Scholar! He competed in Science Olympiad in his junior and senior years at Wake Forest High School, medaling in Codebusters and Chem Lab, as well as competing in Remote Sensing and Write It Do It. Outside of classes, you can find Jeremy helping students with math, playing board games, and roaming around campus!<\/p>\n\t \t \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

His favorite events to compete in were Road Scholar, Dynamic Planet, and Towers. Outside of science olympiad, John is a member of the marching and pep band at NC State, which he claims \u201cfills me with tons of wolfpack exuberance. I am a 2nd year transfer student majoring in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Molecular Cellular and Development, and also minoring in Biotechnology. I transferred from Coastal Carolina Community College during the Fall of 2025. You can often find me at the VR lab (at Hill library) or at Clark Dining Hall.<\/p>\n\t \t \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

Johnathan is a first-year student studying meteorology. He competed in Science Olympiad for eight years with the Wilmington Academy of Arts and Sciences, Isaac Bear Early College, and the NC School of Science and Math at the regional, state, and national level. In 2024, he placed 1st in Ecology at the national tournament. His favorite events are Meteorology, Ornithology, and Geologic Mapping. Outside of class, he enjoys running, surfing, and just generally getting outdoors!<\/p>\n\t \t \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

Vijay Saradhi Chavali<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n \n\n \n\t \t

Vijay is a first-year Human Biology major with an interest in life sciences and teamwork in competitive science. He has participated in Science Olympiad, competing in events such as Cell Biology, Astronomy, and Microbe Mission, where he placed 3rd at the regional level.
As a Leader Assistant, Vijay enjoys helping others understand concepts, supporting team members during preparation, and creating a positive and collaborative environment. He is especially interested in microbiology and enjoys learning about how microorganisms affect human health. He brings a friendly attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to help others succeed.<\/p>\n\t \t \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

Shreya competed in Science Olympiad during elementary and middle school, participating at the state level. Some of her favorite events were Aerodynamics and Bottle Rocket, where she enjoyed the creativity and problem-solving involved in designing and testing builds. Her interest in science has led her to pursue a pre-med track. She is excited to support Science Olympiad as a Logistics Chair Assistant through the SciOly Leadership Assistance Program. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with friends, going to the beach, and shopping.<\/p>\n\t \t \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

Her favorite events in high school was Flight (later renamed Helicopter) and Astronomy. In 2024, she earned a bronze medal in Flight at the State Tournament. She is excited to be a part of the leadership team of a program that allowed her to explore STEM. Outside of class, Stella likes hanging out with friends, spending time outside, thrifting, or doing anything crafty.<\/p>\n\t \t \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

Lily is a first-year student majoring in Animal Science with a minor in Spanish in hopes of pursuing vet school. She has competed in Science Olympiad since Elementary school, and even founded the first club at her high school. Her favorite event was Flight, which is now named helicopter. In 2024, she earned a 5th place and bronze medal at the state competition. Outside of Science Olympiad, she enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and taking care of her two dogs.
