On November 2nd, the team drove to Maryland for our second year of USQ Mid-Atlantic Regionals! At regionals, we compete against other teams from across the lower part of the east coast for a chance at a bid to nationals. It is a very exciting tournament, as over 20 teams are present.
After checking in Friday night, the team woke up bright and early Saturday morning for the first day of regionals! The day started out strong with a win against Salisbury. Although we did not win any other games that day, the experience we gained competing against other teams at regionals will help us grow and improve for next year.
Sunday morning we had the opportunity to yet again fight for a bid to nationals, and won our first game against WVU. Finally, against Penn State, we were eliminated from the bracket, but the team fought hard to the very end. Even though we did not win a bid to nationals, each of our players did their very best and we couldn’t be more proud of how far they have come since last year at regionals! Go Pack!
