For our third tournament of the semester, the team only had to make a short drive over to nearby UNC Chapel Hill! I think we all appreciated not having to wake up as early as usual, and looked forward to a great day of quidditch against UNC and ASU. We started out the day strong, making NCSU history by beating UNC Chapel Hill for the first time in at least six years! Following our game against UNC, we also beat ASU, making us undefeated in pool play. For the final match of the day, we played against UNC for a second time. It was an extremely close game, with each team nearly always within a point of the other. The score was tied right before UNC scored and then caught the snitch, leading to a UNC victory. After the final match of the day all three teams came together for a fun confetti game, where the teams were entirely mixed up and working together. We are so proud of how far our team has come, and they did an excellent job at the tournament!
