Individuals – How to Apply

1. Complete a hard copy of the correct SAVMA Professional Development Grant Application
2. Complete the correct SAVMA Individual Funding Application Summary online>
3. Complete a hard copy of the Travel Report if applicable (retroactive only)
4. Attach all supporting documentation + travel report (if applicable) to your SAVMA Professional Development Grant
5. DUE DATE – Friday, October 13th, 5:00PM

Individuals – Policy Changes & Notes

•There are now two separate applications for Retroactive & Proactive Applicants. Please be sure to fill out the correct application.
•The Online Application Summary can only be filled out after the hard copy Grant Application is complete.
•Proactive Applicants – Grants will not be distributed until all supporting documentation and Travel Reports have been submitted after the experience.
•Third Year Students – To apply proactively, the experience must occur during your 4th year (after 3rd year selectives). All points acquired to-date may be used for these experiences.
•Any applications that are incomplete, do not meet the application requirements, or are submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. No exceptions will be made.
