We are the creators and organizers of the annual Raleigh Division B Invitational.

Science Olympiad Alumni Organization at NC State

Science Olympiad is a national organization that provides STEM exposure for K-12. As an alumni organization, our purpose is to support the activities of the NCSO in its mission to attract and retain the pool of K-12 students interested in entering STEM degrees and careers in North Carolina. This organization of SO alumni will support these tournaments primarily through running our own annual Raleigh Division B Invitational and volunteering at other opportunities such as Raleigh Regional and the State Tournament. What is an Invitational?

A fun & friendly competition where Science Olympiad teams can practice their skills in a real tournament setting! The results from invitational tournaments do not affect regional or state advancement or rankings! Teams use invitationals to: Practice events and build devices, experience the difficulty level of actual tests and labs, try out new team members and finalize teams for official tournaments, perfect strategies and teamwork!
