SpeedCon – Technical Communication Association

SpeedCon 2025

SpeedCon is an annual conference hosted by Technical Communication Association (TCA). This conference gathers technical communication students, faculty, alumni, and industry professionals together to network and learn from one another.

TCA represents students of technical communication at NC State. We promote discussion about the latest trends in the field and achieve active collaboration between students and local industry. TCA is a registered non-profit organization under North Carolina state law. We welcome graduate and undergraduate students, as well as everyone interested in technical communication. Our members come from diverse backgrounds. They bring a variety of skill sets, international exposure, intercultural experience, and research interests to the organization. We have a strong network of alumni who are making their mark in technical communication across the USA and beyond.

SpeedCon 2025 is being hosted in a hybrid format (virtual and in-person) on Friday, April 18th, 10 a.m.– 5 p.m. on the ground floor of Tompkins Hall.

If you are interested in presenting at SpeedCon 2025, please use the following link to submit your abstract and bio for consideration. Abstracts and bios are due February 10th. Notifications of acceptance will be released on February 14th.
