Websites for Student Organizations

Notice for the 2026-27 Academic Year

As of July 1, 2026, no new WordPress sites will be generated for registered NC State student organizations. This change is a result of low participation, poor compliance with with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility guidelines, and duplication of available communication resources already available through NC State via the Get Involved at NC State tools.

Organizations with existing websites will still receive support through Friday, December 11, 2026. All websites for registered NC State student organizations will be removed the week of December 14, 2026.

We encourage organizations to use the Get Involved platform as their primary web presence. For organizations where this will not work, there are other free tools available on the web and Google Sites can still be created and managed via your student Google Workspace account at NC State.
