The Genetics and Environmental Mutagenesis Society of North Carolina is excited to announce the 2022 GEMS fall meetingThe theme is “One Health” and will be held in person on Tuesday, November 1st from 8:30am-4:30pm at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center. There will be a mix of invited speakers, and postdoc/student/trainee talks and posters.  Registration and speaker information coming soon.

Call for abstracts! Postdocs, students, and trainees should send their abstract submission to email.gems@gmail.com by September 1st. The topic of these talks should relate to genetics, environmental mutagenesis, or a closely related field but do not need to relate to the meeting theme. More instructions are on the website event page. This is a great opportunity for trainees to gain experience in giving short platform or poster presentations.
