The NC State University Libraries’ Data and Visualization workshops will open for registration on Monday, January 9th at 8 am. Topics include R and python programming, Tableau, working with spatial data in GIS, and designing effective visualizations. These workshops will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at Hill Library and virtually, and a full list of their offerings can be found at go.ncsu.edu/datavizworkshops. This semester’s workshops include:
-Intro to GIS and Spatial Problem Solving: Wednesday, January 18
-Introduction to Programming with Python (3-week series): starting Tuesday, January 17
-Beginning R: Thursday, January 19
-Elements of Visualization Design: starting Wednesday, January 25
-Introduction to JMP: Tuesday, February 7
-Beginning Tableau: Wednesday, February 8
