Your Student Fee
Every year you pay a fee of $19.63 at the beginning of the year to the NC State University Activities Board. Each Spring, the University Activities Board votes on the following year’s budget. The 2018-2019 board allotted $381,900 between twenty events, film rights and eight line items. The rest of the money we collect is designated for operational costs and staff salaries.
What does UAB do with your money?
The revenue made by the University Activities Board is allocated by its members— with the guidance of our Vice President of Finance and advisors— to programs throughout the year. We host programs such as the Diversity Education Week, TUFFTalks, Karaoke and Trivia Nights, Pan-Afrikan Week, and Wolfstock (Spring Concert). We use this money to enhance the student experience by providing fun, yet informative, campus programs to give students a break from academics.
