Spring 2019 UAB TikTok Challenge
Contest Overview
- NC State students will create creative, out-of-the-box, funny TikToks based on each week’s themes
- There will be a new theme each week!
- Week 1’s Theme: #Quarantine/Quarantine Squad
- Theme: Anything related to staying at home, thanking healthcare workers, feeling nostalgic about college, etc. Anything about your #Quarantine experience thus far
- Also to show off who students are quarantining with, either their family, roommates, etc. Just show off your squad using whatever trends, edits, etc. you can!
- Week 2’s Theme: Best TikTok Dance Craze
- Show off your best dance moves or have fun with your quarantine squad or your family! Show us your moves to your favorite song or a unique spin on one of the many trending hashtags & dance challenges on tiktok right now, and you might win!
- Be sure to carefully follow the rules of entry and guidelines especially when keeping your song of choice in mind!
- Top 10 TikToks with the most likes/shares on TikTok will be posted for the NC State community to vote!
- Week 3’s Theme: TBA
- Happy studying! Its finals yet again – but just a little bit different this year.
- How are you coping with finals and studying at home?
- Be creative, be spontaneous, take part in some TikTok trends and make your own TikTok for the Wolfpack to vote on it & the chance to win $150 VISA gift card — the last one of the TikTok challenges!

Rules of Entry and Winning
- All TikTok submissions must do the following
- Tag us (@NCStateUAB) in the caption of your TikTok AND DM us your TikTok video on Instagram (@NCStateUAB)
- Must be following @NCStateUAB on Instagram
- Winners will be selected by the public
- The TOP 10 TikToks that have the most likes & shares on TikTok (and meet the other requirements listed above) will be selected & uploaded on our Insta Story once the week ends
- The one (1) TikTok with the most votes posted on our insta story will win!
Prizes
- Each week one (1) winner will receive a $150 Dollar Visa Gift Card!! There will only be 1 winner per week, and it will be the 1 person who DMs the TikTok to us via Instagram

- 4/13: Theme announced
- 4/17 by 11:59pm: Deadline to DM TikTok
- 4/18 by 12:00pm (noon): Top 15 TikToks posted on @NCStateUAB Insta Story
- 4/18 8PM: Top Winner Selected
- Week 2: Best TikTok Dance Craze
- 4/20: Theme announced
- 4/24 by 11:59pm: Deadline to DM TikTok
- 4/25 by 12:00pm (noon): Top 10 TikToks posted on Insta Story
- 4/25 8PM: Top Winner Selected
- Week 3: Studying for Finals
- 4/28: Theme announced
- 5/1 by 11:59pm: Deadline to DM TikTok
- 5/2 by 12:00pm (noon): Top 10 TikToks posted on Insta Story
- 5/2 8PM: Top Winner Selected
Rules and Regulations
- TikTok MUST be public
- There is a zero tolerance policy of any alcohol, profanity, nudity, derogatory language, pornography, weapons, etc. in any of the submitted TikToks.
- Prize for the weekly winner will be distributed to the 1 person who submitted the TikTok to UAB.
- Any TikTok that does not abide by the following rules or contains harmful, provocative, or discriminatory language/actions will NOT be considered and disqualified.
- Only NC State students are eligible to receive the prize.
