Winter LDOC is coming!

Congratulations on finishing such an unpredicted, tough semester — you deserve a pat on the back and a round of applause for your hard work, so take some time to relax with UAB on the Last Day of Class! Winter LDOC 2020 is almost here, and UAB’s Concerts Committee has an exciting line-up for you all, both in-person and virtually!

  • Friends Kahoot! Trivia Challenge w/ WellRec

    Join our online Friends Kahoot! Trivia Challenge for a chance to win a Wellness and Recreation t-shirt. The challenge will begin on Monday, November 16 and end on Sunday, November 22 at 11:00 p.m. At the end of the challenge, two random participants will win t-shirts!

    Join the Acts of Kindness Club for a virtual Christmas card making session. Bring your own cookies and supplies and we’ll play music and games while making cards to send to local nursing homes in Raleigh

 

  • Mindfulness Habits for Winter Break w/ Prevention Services

    A review of mindfulness strategies that can assist you in understanding how alcohol and other drug habits may impact your winter break experience.

    One Earth
    Stop by One Earth on November 17th & 18th from 11am-3pm for a decadent end-of-semester celebration! Chef Yoli and her bakery team will take over an entire station at One Earth to feature sweet and savory baked goods, plus vegan and allergy-friendly options!

 

  • The Pre-Game w/ Prevention Services

    Join Prevention Services and the University Activities Board Concerts Committee on discussing your pre-game strategies. We will discuss healthy risk reduction strategies around alcohol use. We will tackle what can take place at the pregame before you head out with friends to prevent harmful consequences from drinking or drug use.
