ASG Delegate Adachi Amaram (she/her/hers) is a sophomore from Chesterfield, VA with a major in Political Science, and prospective minors in psychology and history. She graduated high school from a governor’s school for the arts, where she majored in literary arts and was published in a variety of publications, and won numerous national awards for her creative writing. On campus, she is vice president of African Student Union, an ambassador for the Park Scholarships program, a member of the pre-law association, and an avid football fan; Go Wolfpack! As ASG delegate, Adachi plans to focus on working to elevate marginalized voices at large universities, promote social justice, and to help implement action to aid NC State’s transition to a post-COVID society.

The Association of Student Governments (ASG) Delegate serves as the primary voice of NC State students to the UNC Association of Student Governments and advocates on behalf of NC State students to the other UNC system schools, the UNC Board of Governors, and the state of North Carolina.
