[HOWL] Welcome back for Spring 2017!

MESSAGE FROM The SBP [PAUL NOLAN]

Good afternoon, Wolfpack!  Welcome back home to NC State!  I hope everyone has been staying safe and warm in this weather. Winter is coming, so get your hot cocoa now! I went to Harris Teeter prior to the storm because I thrive on Raleigh’s chaos. I also broke a sled on the Court of North Carolina, so we’re off to a pretty great start.

I’d also like to wish you a happy new year! I hope you had a restful and re-energizing break. I’m here to support your new goals and serve in the best way possible. Friendly reminder: you’re awesome!

With Wolfpack Spirit (and a cup of cocoa),

Paul

Shoutout to Mark Hove, “It’s not that hard KB.”

ACE HEALTH COACH CERTIFICATION

In an effort to strengthen our health and wellness programs on campus, consider the ACE Health Coach Certification course during the Spring 2017 semester. This course is a wonderful opportunity for students, or even Faculty, Staff or Carmichael Gym Members, who have work experience, coursework, or a general interest in the field. Not only is this a national certification, this ACE program, in particular, is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), and has now been designated through the National Consortium for Credentialing Health and Wellness Coaches (NCCHWC). It is a great resume builder because it will also benefit individuals even after they leave the university.

On our course website, individuals can find out more information about requirements, and apply for the course. We will review all pre-requisites, and let them know if they qualify for the exam. The cost of the course includes the reduced certification exam fee, and all course materials.

The link for the course website can be found here.

OPEN SOURCE 101 CONFERENCE
