Welcome Home! A Wolfpack Greeting and Upcoming Events
NC State Wolfpack,
WELCOME HOME! For our new students: I am Paul Nolan, your Student Body President. For returning students: I’m back! As a refresher, I send emails to the student body on a weekly basis which include campus updates, puppies, and – on a rare occasion – my dating profile (which I’m still responding back to people, many thanks for all the love). This email serves as a warm welcome back to the Wolfpack community.
To our first-year and transfer students, I sincerely hope that your bags are packed and that you’re excited to arrive on campus. Embrace the Wolfpack pride that surrounds you and walk with confidence; you deserve to be here. For our returning members of the Wolfpack, I challenge you to reflect on the first moment when you stepped on campus – how did you feel in that moment, and how do you feel returning now? Always remember to reach out, unplug, and look up.
Now let’s talk about the incredible events planned for your return! I strongly encourage you to take advantage of as many opportunities as possible.

In addition to building homes, there are also opportunities to volunteer at the Habitat ReStore as well as Home Preservation Projects. Click here to learn how you can be a part of the largest student-led building project in the history of Habitat for Humanity.
Packapalooza – Saturday, August 20
Mark your calendars for the greatest street festival in all the land. Last year, over 65,000 people descended on Hillsborough Street to celebrate the Wolfpack. #Packapalooza is open to the entire community and will feature headliner We The Kings.
Again, welcome home Wolfpack!
Paul Nolan
