Ticket To Table

Ticket to Table

Convert eligible parking citations into donations for the Feed the Pack Pantry — Transportation will forgive qualifying tickets in exchange for Amazon Wishlist donations.

How it works

  1. Eligible students purchase items from the Feed the Pack Pantry Amazon Wishlist (or the wishlist linked on our site).
  2. Each item purchased counts as $5 worth of forgiveness. (Example: a $60 ticket → purchase 12 items).
  3. Purchased items should be sent to Feed the Pack Food Pantry. This will be a pre-filled option that you will select at checkout for delivery address. It is listed as “Feed the Pack: The Food Pantry at NC State.”
    1. Please note that in order for this address to pre-fill, the items you choose should be marked with “Prime” rather than the “Amazon Fresh” or “Whole Foods Items” as those will not be delivered directly to FTP nor will the address populate. The delivery should occur through the standard Amazon delivery rather than Amazon Fresh or Whole Foods Market.
  4. Students upload receipts using the sign-up form: Fill out the Google Form to apply.
  5. Student Body President Carreno will monitor the form/email and forward receipts to Transportation; Transportation will forgive qualifying citations in exchange for confirmed donations.

Program dates: February 20, 2026 through March 7, 2026.

Fine Print & Eligibility
  • Maximum ticket amount: Only citations with a fine of $60 or less are eligible for this program.
  • Duration of event: Only citations issued between February 20 – March 7 are eligible
  • Full dismissal: Transportation will forgive a qualifying citation in totality when the required number of wishlist items (at $5 per item) is purchased and receipts are verified.
  • Not eligible:
    • Warning citations (no fee associated).
    • Tickets already in the appeals process prior to participation (example: if a student received a ticket on 2/20 and already initiated an appeal, they are ineligible).
    • Tickets that have already been paid are invalid for appeal under this program.
    • City of Raleigh Parking Tickets are not eligible under this program.
  • One ticket per student: Each student may relieve only one parking ticket through this program. Eligibility is tracked via the individual Google Form submission.
  • Receipts & verification: Students must submit valid Amazon receipts via the Google Form. Student Body President Carreno will monitor the form/email and forward receipts to Transportation for final verification and dismissal.
  • Donations are Final: When you apply for forgiveness and submit receipt, you acknowledge that your ticket may not be eligible for forgiveness and your donation may not grant forgiveness, even if made in the effort to dismiss your parking ticket. Tickets are often not dismissed because they were issued outside of the program window (2/20 – 3/7), have already been appealed, or are over the amount limit ($60 or less).
