Director of Wellness Layla Saliba | she/her

The Student Wellness Department is tasked with advocating on issues related to student wellness. Working alongside Student Health, the Counseling Center, University Wellness and Recreation, University Dining, and the Wellness Advisory Board, this Department is committed to bridging the gap between wellness related campus entities and meaningful student input.

Wellness Director Layla Saliba is a junior majoring in Psychology with minors in Criminology and Social Work. As Wellness Director, she serves as the advocate and student voice for University Dining, the Counseling Center, and Wellness and Recreation. During her time as Director, Layla hopes to instill a culture of wellness, advocate for marginalized communities, and ensure that everyone has their voice heard.

Elsewhere on campus, she is President of We Bleed Red, a member of Generation Action, and an employee for Student Involvement. When not working, Layla enjoys yoga classes at Carmichael, hanging out with friends, and browsing r/SkinCareAddiction.
