The Student Wellness Department is tasked with advocating on issues related to student wellness. Working alongside Student Health, the Counseling Center, University Wellness and Recreation, University Dining, and the Wellness Advisory Board, this Department is committed to bridging the gap between wellness related campus entities and meaningful student input.

Sheariah is a senior Political Science student with a concentration in International Politics
at North Carolina State University. Prior to attending NC State, she served in various student
leadership positions at her former institution including but not limited to Student Senator in the
Student Government Association, Parliamentarian and Community Outreach Chair for the Black
Student Union, and Media and Public Relations Chair for the African Caribbean Student Union.

She is committed to being a catalyst for her peers’ engagement and success in all areas of student
life impacted by wellness. She is determined and excited to expand the idea that wellness doesn’t
begin and end at nutrition and fitness. She looks forward to always being open and apt to work
with students, faculty, staff, and people of the Raleigh area to make North Carolina State
University an environment that encourages students and community members to live healthy, whole, and fulfilling lives.
