Fall 2023 Appropriations Budget Tool

All Appropriations Applications must include a complete, accurate, balanced, and detailed budget completed using the Fall 2023 Budget Tool. When creating your budget, you should include the expected and actual revenue and expenses.

FB23-SB24 Online Appropriations Application

Your Appropriations Application is very important and will be reviewed by the Appropriations Council prior to your interview. Please ensure that the information you submit is true and accurate. We can only accept one application per student organization, if your organization is seeking funding for multiple events or activities, please include these on one application.

Fall Break 2023 – Spring Break 2024 Cycle Funding

The Final Funding Table for the Fall Break 2023 – Spring Break 2024 Cycle lists all funding amounts for each student organizations that submitted an Appropriations Application. Section will be updated following approval of the Student Senate.

Submit Receipts & Return Unspent Funds

The deadline to submit receipts and return unspent funds from the Fall Break 2023 – Spring Break 2024 Cycle is Monday, April 15, 2024 at 11:59 PM. All student organizations receiving Appropriations funds are required to submit receipts for expenses that used Appropriations funding. Any leftover or unspent funds must then be returned back to Student Government.

What is a valid Appropriations receipt?

NC State University policies stipulate what Student Government can accept as a valid Appropriations receipt. 

How do I return unspent funds?

Student organizations should return unspent funds when they do not spend all of their funding or if there is an issue with their receipts. When returning funds, there are three important steps to follow.
