Division of Student Organization Support

The Division of Student Organization Support manages the Student Government Appropriations process, as well as administratively supports the Appropriations Council, and provides support and resources to Registered Student Organizations. The Student Body Treasurer appoints Allocation Officials. The Deputy Treasurer directly leads the Division and appoints Allocation Assistants.

Fall Break 2022 – Spring Break 2023 Appropriations Cycle

Successfully dispersed over $168,000 to 239 student organizations at NC State University for the Fall Break 2022 – Spring Break 2023 Appropriations Cycle which covers expenses between October 12, 2022 – March 20, 2023.

Spring Break 2023 – Fall Break 2023 Appropriations Cycle

Actively working on documents, resources, and materials for the Spring Break 2023 – Fall Break 2023 Appropriations Cycle which will cover the expenses of an estimated 200 student organizations between March 20, 2023 – October 11, 2023.

Student Organization Funding Database

The Student Organization Funding Database was a project started by the Treasury Branch in fall 2019 to record, account, and digitize funding history and data for each Appropriations cycle we have a record of. This exhaustive project has allowed us to capture data since 1998 and create a database that list each student organization’s individual funding amount for each Appropriations cycle since 2002. This is an internal database not available online.

SG Appropriations Dashboard

The SG Appropriations Dashboard, powered by the Student Organization Funding Database, is an upcoming application developed and operated by the Treasury Branch for the Student Government Appropriations. It will allow student organizations ease of access to historical Appropriations information while also serving as a platform for the submission of receipts and view of receipt status by organizations. This will be a publicly available application and integrated on our website.
