Access a comprehensive range of medical, wellness, and preventative care services designed to help you thrive physically and emotionally. From general medical appointments and specialized treatments to personal wellness coaching, these resources are conveniently located on campus to support your overall health.

  • Wellness and Recreation Center | wellrec.dasa.ncsu.edu
    • NC State Wellness and Recreation empowers the Wolfpack community to thrive. Together, they explore and grow in these six elements of wellness: purpose, financial, physical, emotional, social and community. 
  • Wellness Coaching | go.ncsu.edu/wellness-coach
    • Free service, providing students with education, support and encouragement to develop behaviors for a healthier lifestyle. Sessions can be set up in person or on zoom. Sessions can help you with goal setting, nutrition, physical activity, resilience, stress management, and time management.
  • Campus Health

      • Campus Health offers confidential, professional health care ranging from general medical care to specialized treatments—all conveniently located on campus. Our capabilities extend to allergy injections, immunizations, travel medicine advice, laceration repair and X‐rays.

Our physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dietitians, physical therapists and pharmacists treat students with common acute and chronic care problems. We provide care for a wide range of issues including injury management, diabetes, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, ADHD, anxiety and depression.

Mental Health

  • Off-Campus Referrals | go.ncsu.edu/offcampusreferrals
    • Case managers at the NC State counseling center can help connect students to off-campus mental health resources and how to navigate those.
  • Counseling Center | counseling.dasa.ncsu.edu
    • Offering individual, group, couples, career counseling, teletherapy, addictive behavior counseling, and psychiatric services, the Counseling Center has resources to help connect students with the resources that will best support them. Specialized services for substance abuse, eating disorders, trauma, and academic stress.
    • Embedded counselors exist for all colleges and many additional programs such as through the Women’s Center, LGBTQ Pride Center, Multicultural Student Affiars, scholarship programs, and athletics, and more.   • CARES | go.ncsu.edu/cares
    • CARES is an online resource for students, faculty, parents, or others to refer students exhibiting signs of distress or concerning/worrisome behaviors to the CARES team to receive support. Case managers meet with students and discuss relevant resources to support them while following up with them and monitoring their progress. 
  • Teletherapy Platform | go.ncsu.edu/teletherapy
    • In addition to the services offered through the NC State Counseling Center, all NC State degree-seeking students can access a teletherapy platform for additional support.
  • Collegiate Recovery Community |https://prevention.dasa.ncsu.edu/collegiate-recovery-community/
    • The Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC) at NC State is a staff-supported, student group for those who identify as in recovery or who are sober-curious. The CRC seeks to connect students to one another, foster their collegiate success, and provide the opportunity for students to have an alternative college experience. The CRC is open to all pathways of recovery!
