Chief Justice

This application is for the 102nd session of Student Government, academic year 2022-2023.

The Chief Justice is the head of the Justice Department, and shall be appointed by the outgoing Student Body President no later than one week prior to the first Student Senate meeting of a new session, subject to the simple majority confirmation of the Senate. Such an appointment shall not be confirmed at the meeting at which the appointment is announced. In the event that the Chief Justice position is vacated prior to the end of the term, the Student Body President shall be empowered to appoint a replacement Chief Justice according to the process outlined in Chapter 3, Article 2, Part 1 and Part 2. They shall not be considered to be a part of the Cabinet. The attendance of the Chief Justice at all meetings of the Student Senate is required. The Chief Justice shall be a full, voting member of the Justice Department.

Board of Elections Chair

This application is for the 102nd session of Student Government, academic year 2022-2023.

The Chair of the Board of Elections oversees the elections cycle, special elections, referendums, and changes to the elections handbook. The Chair will also work with the board to work towards increasing voter engagement as well as other necessary tasks.
